What did you do before you joined Schwartau / Hero?

I used to work at Kraft Foods for 12 Years in different Purchasing functions from Purchasing of Packaging Materials and Ingredients to a Buyer and Line Manager as well as a Purchasing Analyst. Before that, I worked as Purchasing Manger Raw materials for Lieken Brot which belongs to the Barilla Group.

What attracted you to Schwartau / Hero?

I was fascinated by the mix of family ownership and international business.

How would you describe your current role?

Very diverse – I have the opportunity to work in an international environment when I represent Schwartau Purchasing on Group level, and to work operationally when it comes to Schwartau related business.

What do you appreciate most about Schwartau / Hero?

The good staffing of the company, i.e. the mix of senior management and young people working together.

What accomplishments are you particularly proud of?

It makes me proud to see how our teams develop and progress in our fast changing business environment.

What advice would you give job candidates?

Take the chance, always be open and approachable!
