What did you do before joining Signature Brands / Hero?

Before joining Signature Brands / Hero I was a National Executive Trainee for Sears Holding Corporation.

How would you describe your current role?

I am the HR Specialist. I am responsible for every facet within the HR function. I juggle many balls throughout the course of the day. The Signature Brands HR department handles employee benefits, recruiting, payroll, performance management, compliance issues, training, etc.

What do you appreciate most about Signature Brands / Hero?

I appreciate the drive for results and the culture. The team at Signature Brands is passionate about the business; this is evident in the drive for results, measures to save costs, and the ownership of the business.

What do you do for fun?

I enjoy spending time with my family. I have 10 aunts, 9 uncles and over 50 cousins. During the year we have several family gatherings because there is always a birthday or something to celebrate. These events are always loads of fun with great food, dancing, and lots of laughter.

What advice would you give job candidates who wish to
work at Signature Brands / Hero?

The advice that I would give job candidates is the same advice that our CEO gave me, “Pursue your passion.” If you can be passionate about your work it will more than likely lead you to success and positive results.
