Hero Benelux
The Benelux business started in 1914 with the formal cooperation of the Breda-based Jansen family fruit and vegetables business and their biggest customer – the Swiss Hero Group.
Over the past 100+ years, Hero Benelux has undergone continuous changes to adapt to market conditions. It is currently active in the following categories: Natural Spreads, Healthy Snacks, Drinks, Decoration, Baby & Toddler Milk, and Baby & Toddler Food.
Our Hero Benelux office is located in Breda in the same place where production began in 1914. After the factory was sold in 2015, we transformed into a marketing and sales office, working closely with our producing sister organizations.
The Hero Benelux office has sales, marketing, quality and regulatory affairs, finance, customer Service and IT, supply chain, and HR departments.

Hero Benelux history
Hero has existed in the Netherlands for more than 100 years. Founded in Switzerland in 1886, a partnership was formed with a small factory in Breda making jams and fruit pulp in 1914, creating Hero Conserven in Breda.
